There are so many interesting and fun things to do here in Music Citythat when I saw Tom Adkinson's book, "100 Things to Do in Nashville Before You Die,"I knew it would be good fodder for my column.
There are some obvious picks, like going to the Grand Ole Opry and the Ryman Auditorium, or visiting the Bluebird Cafe, Country Music Hall of Fame,The Hermitage and the Parthenon. And there are lots of free options like the Tennessee State Museum, Southern Festival of Books and tours of the state Capitol.
But Adkinson's full list is exhaustive andcomes with entertaining commentary, making the guide valuable for locals and visitors alike.
