he office portion of the new Gulch Crossing mixed-use building at 1033 Demonbreun St. is roughly 70 percent leased after three new tenants signed up for space.
At the building's grand opening on Monday, developer MarketStreet Enterprises revealed leases with Insight Global Inc., Nicol Investment Co. and Thompson Research Group.
Jay Turner, MarketStreet's managing director, said the company's first Class A office building in the Gulch raises the standard of office culture in Nashville.
"Nashville continues to experience tremendous growth and, to maintain this momentum, we must attract new talent,” he said. "Gulch Crossing will be an invaluable addition to the Gulch and to Nashville’s business community."
Overall, Gulch Crossing has 205,000 square feet of office space, 16,500 square feet of retail space that will front 11th Avenue North and a 750-space, six-level structured parking garage. The building's $37-per-square-foot rent makes it downtown's most expensive office address.
Atlanta-based staffing services company Insight Global will nearly double its space in the move from the Maryland Farms office park area of Brentwood.
Nicol Investment will be moving into 5,000 square feet of space from downtown's Fifth Third Center where the real estate investment company occupies an executive suite.
