Coahulla Creek swimming had an encouraging night in the pool on Thursday in a tri-meet against Cartersville and Darlington. The Colts finished second in points on the girls side with 96 points to Darlingtons 109, while the boys came in third with 85 points. Cartersvilles girls had 82 points and the boys had 90 points, while Darlingtons boys tallied 105 points.

Colts coach Todd Ogas said the difference in the meet was close relay finishes in which the Colts came up just short.
