CHATTANOOGA FIREFIGHTERS FILL THE BOOT FOR MDA

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.

Members of the Chattanooga Fire Department and Chattanooga Fire Fighters Association Local 820 have kicked off the fire fighters annual Fill the Boot fundraising campaign to help the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) find urgently needed treatments and cures for muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases that severely limit strength and mobility.

Here's a look at one of many children who benefited from last year's efforts:

More than 370 fire fighters from Chattanooga Fire Department and Chattanooga Fire Fighters Association Local 820 will fan out across the city with boots in hand for this years drive.

Due to Thursdays inclement weather and safety concerns, todays Fill the Boot drive has been re-scheduled for Saturday, May 5, 2018.

However, the CFD says firefighters will be out as scheduled on Friday, April 27 and Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the following locations:
