SECOND LIFE TENNESSEE LAUNCHES INAUGURAL FINISH FOR HOPE 5K AND 1-MILE WALK TO END HUMAN TRAFFICKING

Registration is open forSecond Life Tennesseesinaugural Finish for Hope 5K run and one-mile walk to end human trafficking in Lower East Tennessee. This family-friendly event raises awareness for human trafficking and supports Second Life Tennessees mission to create and coordinate prevention, policy and survivor services for people in the region who have experienced or been impacted by human trafficking.

The event will be onSaturday, April 21, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The5K start time is 10 a.m., and the one-mile walk start time is11 a.m. It will be attheTennessee Riverpark - Riverfront Pavilion (Shelter 4),4301 Amnicola Hwy.,Chattanooga, Tn. 37406.

Second Life Tennessee is the sole organization responsible for coordinating services in the 25-county footprint of Lower East Tennessee. TheFinish for Hope 5K will cultivate community within Chattanooga and beyond and invite businesses and families into Second Life Tennessees realm of advocacy. The event will provide the opportunity to establish more partnerships and future advocates to end human trafficking. Organizers hope to see partnerships continue to develop into an effective joint effort that will serve survivors in the region.
