Schwandt, nationally known organist, clinician and silent-film accompanist, will be the guest artist at the Chattanooga Music Club's annual patriotic organ concert on Tuesday, June 27, at Memorial Auditorium. This free community concert begins at 7 p.m. As is tradition at its summer concerts, the CMC will open the show with a military salute, followed by the featured soloist's concert, then a silent-movie screening that the guest artist accompanies. Two silent films will be shown at Tuesday's event, "The City Slicker" and "We Faw Down." The patriotic portion of the concert will include a posting of the colors, singing of "The Star-Spangled Banner," salute to active military and veterans of each service branch and "Taps" played by David Nall.
