According to the Chattanooga multiple listing service: * 5.7 percent more homes sold in March, or 860 houses * 19.2 percent higher median price for homes sold compared with a year ago, rising to $174,000 * 23.1 percent fewer listings of homes on the market compared to a year ago with only 2,988 homes on the market * 4.1 percent decline in the average days on the market to sell the typical home to only 70 days.
