This year's Ice on the Landing[1] was another success, so organizers decided to extend operations for an extra week.

Chattanooga Presents, along with Volkswagen Chattanooga, will offer Ice on the Landing through Jan. 22.

The new location at the Chattanooga Choo-Choo's Glenn Miller Gardens features a 140-by-40-foot open-air skating rink, surrounded by gas lanterns and train cars.

The rink has been open since Nov. 18 and was previously scheduled to close Jan. 16 before this announcement.

A few changes have been made to hours now that school is back in session. Ice on the Landing will return to its regular weekday start time of 2 p.m.

General tickets remain $10 per adult and $8 for children 12 and under. The fee includes skate rentals and a minimum two-hour skate session.

While there, enjoy hot chocolate, Nutella crepes from Adelle's Ice Cream Creperie and a variety of items from Puckett's Gro. and Restaurant.
