Steroid jabs in the ear could help reduce severe dizziness, but without the side-effects of existing treatments.

The jabs, tested over two years by scientists at Imperial College London, cut the number of dizzy spells by about 90 per cent.

Most of us experience occasional dizzy spells. 

These can be due to anything from ear infections, migraines or anxiety to hypotension — low blood pressure that can make you feel dizzy, especially when you stand up. For some, it can be a chronic condition.
