DALTON EDUCATION FOUNDATION CELEBRATES HOMECOMING WITH COMMUNITY TAILGATE

The Dalton Education Foundation joins in on the festivities again this year by hosting the Paint the Town Red Community Tailgate Party following the Dalton High School Homecoming parade and before the Catamounts' football game on Friday.

The event is at the Creative Arts Guild Pavilion at 520 W. Waugh St. The celebration is free and open to anyone who wants to support educational excellence in the community. Donations are welcome and will go to benefit the Dalton Education Foundation. Sound Imitations will provide entertainment.

This is the third year the Dalton Education Foundation has hosted an event during the Homecoming festivities.

"We have so many alumni and families in our community who look forward to the annual DHS Homecoming celebration," said Mike Maret, president of the Dalton Education Foundation's Board of Trustees, "The foundation has enjoyed success in providing a fun activity as part of the festivities for several years and are happy to offer a family-friendly event this year. We hope everyone from alumni to just those who support education in our community can come together to celebrate their love of our schools."

The Dalton Education Foundation funds a number of programs that benefit students and staff in Dalton Public Schools.
