FINAL CLASS OF UNIVERSITY OF CHATTANOOGA CELEBRATES 50TH REUNION AT UTC

UTCs Office of Development and Alumni Affairs will commemorate the 50th reunion of the University of Chattanooga Class of 1969 on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 27-28, as part of the 2019 Homecoming celebration. Graduates of 1969 marked the last class of the University of Chattanooga before it merged with the University of Tennessee that same year. Alumni from this class, as well as preceding classes, are invited to reconnect with classmates and friends from the University of Chattanooga.

Reunion activities for the Class of 69 begin on Friday, Sept. 27, with a luncheon and tour of the campus followed by a private dinner that evening. At 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, they will be formally inducted into the UTC 50-Plus Society by administrators and alumni officials in Patten Chapel. Reunion activities will culminate with a 50-Plus luncheon and tailgate at First Tennessee Pavilion leading up to UTCs Homecoming football game against Western Carolina at 4 p.m. The class also will also be recognized during the game.
