WORK TO START ON 100-PLUS CONDOS NEAR FAIRGROUNDS

A local infill developer plans to break ground next month on a mixed-use development that will bring more than 100 residential condos off Nolensville Pike just beyond The Fairgrounds Nashville.

Core Development's Alloy on Tech Hill will also include the new home of Bongo Java Roasting Co. along with 8,000 square feet of "maker" condos targeting up to eight artisan businesses. The overall development is expected to be built in phases on 5.5 acres at 370 and 380 Herron Drive.

"We're hoping that it's going to kick off a wave of new development down Nolensville Pike that begins to address some of Metro's workforce housing needs," said Kent Campbell, vice president of Core Development. "We're trying to price these (condos) more entry level and for people working downtown."
