Single tickets for the Chattanooga Symphony & Operas 2019/20 season are now on sale to the general public. The lineup for the organizations 87th season features "iconic classical works, exciting guest performers, and an emphasis on female composers."
The season will open Sept. 26 with Shostakovich & Rachmaninoff an evening showcasing famous works by Russian composers and featuring guest pianist, Steven Lin. An Evening with Bernadette Peters will bring the Broadway superstar, actress, and singer to Chattanooga on Oct. 12. Family favorites are also on the schedule, including the beloved Home for the Holidays concert featuring Signal Mountain native and bass-baritone Seth Carico on Dec. 21 and 22, as well as the special event Disney in Concert A Tale As Old As Time on March 28, 2020.
The Barnett & Company Masterworks Series and Chamber Series will focus on female composers throughout the season, welcoming female guest artists such as Gloria Chien and Mela Dailey.
